Reading Logs

The students will be expected to read for at least 40 minutes this week and to document their reading on a log sent home every Monday. An adult needs to sign each day. They are due every Friday.

  1. This week the students will take their Fall Pictures for our yearbook. The students will need to wear their chapel uniforms and please do not forget the ties for the boys. I am sure your children will turn out adorable in their fall pictures.

  2. Today, permission slips go home for the Natural History Museum. They are due Friday, October 14th. There is space for one chaperone for second grade. I already had a parent indicate interest on Friday. Please remember that chaperones must be LiveScanned in order to help out. That will be my priority in choosing a chaperone.

  3. I sent an email out last Friday of all the events that would be happening in October. I think I forgot to include Jeans Day on October 21st. On that Friday, students can wear jeans along with free dress shoes and shirt. However, they need to bring in $5.00 dollars. The money is not kept by the school, but is donated to a worthy cause. This activity is not mandatory, but optional. If you do not plan to participate in Jeans Day, just have your child come in their chapel uniform as usual. All decisions are supported and respected.
